Last year, radio electronics production increased by 27.5% (3.3 trillion), investments in fixed assets of companies — by 67.7% (312 billion), and the number of employees in the industry increased by 5.7% (462 thousand). The Ministry of Industry and Trade declined to comment on the situation.
Alexander Senyukov, Deputy General Director for Government Relations at equipment manufacturer T8, suggested that the reduction in funding may be due to a change in the policy of the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding support for radio electronic companies.
If earlier these were subsidies, for which strict requirements were imposed on companies, now there is a transition to a mechanism of preferential lending, for which, possibly, companies will only need to meet the entry criteria.
