The Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Alexey Russkikh, held a working meeting with the management of JSC "PROMTECH-Ulyanovsk".
At the meeting with the company's new General Director, Ilya Marinin, the head of the region discussed the company's development prospects and current production indicators.
Special attention at the meeting was paid to the training of qualified personnel and the company's participation in import substitution programs.
JSC "PROMTECH-Ulyanovsk" is actively involved in the implementation of civil aviation projects, including the production of components for MC-21 and SSJ-New aircraft.
The company has already established the production of passenger seats, and this year it has started creating the production of aircraft emergency escape slides.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that thermoplastic materials will appear in the PD-14, PD-8, and PD-35 engines.
