In Kaliningrad, the Grunwald machine-building plant (Grunwald TM, manufacturer of vehicle superstructures, trailers and semi-trailers) announced the launch of a new shipbuilding production. This was announced by Mikhail Bagin, Head of the Marketing Department of Grunwald LLC.
A new production site has been opened in Kaliningrad. It is located next to the plant where semi-trailers are produced. Currently, our employees have started cutting metal for the first small-tonnage vessel.
Currently, the company is laying a small class boat up to 8 meters long. In the future, it is planned to start building medium-sized vessels.
The production facilities will be located on a site in the area of the Right Embankment in the Pregolsky microdistrict, where semi-trailers were previously produced. The Grunwald plant intends to launch mass production of small class vessels, and in parallel build larger water vehicles.
It is planned to attract private individuals as the main buyers of the new products. This opens up new opportunities for the development of the shipbuilding industry in the region.
Earlier www1.ru reported that USC retained the agreement to supply boats for the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
