The "Radioelectronic Technologies" Concern (KRET, part of Rostec) presented a working prototype of the anesthesia-respiratory machine "Anestec" at the "Innoprom-2025" industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg. This is the first Russian device of this class, according to the state corporation's press service.
"Anestec" is designed for inhalation anesthesia (anesthetic is delivered through the patient's lungs) and controlled/assisted artificial ventilation of the lungs. The device automatically adjusts to the patient's breathing, regulating the strength and volume of air supply.
Features of the "Anestec" anesthesia-respiratory machine:
▪️ servo-controlled respiratory volume generator
▪️ active exhaust gas evacuation system
▪️ heating of the respiratory flow recirculation
The device can be installed in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) rooms. It is also suitable for use during surgical operations requiring MRI to monitor the process.
The Rostec press service added that the product has passed factory tests and is being prepared for clinical trials. Mass production of "Anestec" is scheduled for 2026.
