The information support system for operators (ISSO) has started functioning at power unit No. 6 of the Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant. It operates on the basis of domestic software using artificial intelligence (AI). This was reported by the press service of the state corporation "Rosatom".
The main feature of this system is its ability to predict the development of events 30 minutes in advance, which allows personnel to quickly respond to possible deviations in the reactor's operation.
Artificial intelligence covers 360 technological systems of a modern power unit, about 200 interactive procedures and 20 functions, which significantly reduces the information load on the operator himself.
This significantly reduces the load on operators, who previously manually monitored the readings of 12 thousand sensors and studied voluminous technical documentation.
The ISSO was developed by specialists from "Rosatom Automated Control Systems", the company "IF SNIIP ATOM" and employees of the nuclear power plant itself. According to the press service of the station, the system is an accurate digital copy of the power unit, operating in real time, which increases the safety and efficiency of its operation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the repair of power unit No. 6 was completed ahead of schedule at the Novovoronezh NPP.
