A supersonic MiG-25 aircraft, named after Hero of the Soviet Union Valentin Sugrin, was spotted on a highway near Voronezh. The interceptor was transported by tractor to the Museum of Soviet and Russian Aviation in Borshchevo.
The aircraft performed over 40 reconnaissance sorties during the counter-terrorism operation in Chechnya.
MiG-25 is a legendary именной board, which can now be counted on the fingers.
The aircraft was located at the training ground for a long time and served as a target for training. Representatives of the museum managed to negotiate with the Ministry of Defense and the MiG-25 was transferred to the museum.
