Another batch of KAMAZ-RIAT 65225-RT semi-trailer tractors has been sent to Surgut for TTK Soyuz LLC, which specializes in critical fuel transportation in the Arctic regions. This equipment is the result of cooperation between PJSC KAMAZ and its official partner OJSC RIAT, known for its deep adaptation of trucks to extreme climatic conditions.
The key technological feature of the 65225-RT model is its comprehensive modernization specifically for operation in the harsh conditions of the Far North. The tractors are equipped with a powerful in-line six-cylinder KAMAZ 689.510-400 engine (400 hp), designed for heavy conditions and delivering high torque. To guarantee reliability in off-road conditions and low temperatures, the design includes reinforced chassis and transmission. A mandatory package is the "northern options", which includes pre-start heaters, thermal insulation of critical components and the use of frost-resistant materials. For compatibility with specialized semi-trailers used in fuel logistics, the tractors are hydraulically equipped. Single-tire wheels contribute to increased cross-country ability on snowy roads.
