Now Available for Rent: Ozon Expands Service List with Short-Term Car Rentals

New online rental service launches for sole proprietors and legal entities in 6 Russian cities

Russian marketplace Ozon has launched a commercial transport rental service called "Ozon Naprokat." The platform is designed for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, offering per-day pricing (from 1 day to a month) without long-term commitments.

Key aspects:

  • Digital personal account with integration of TIN data for accelerated verification (application approval time — up to several hours)
  • Fleet with telematics sensors: only models from 2021+ are available (Gazel Next, Ford Transit), equipped with mileage and technical condition monitoring systems
  • Automated pricing: the cost from 5,550 rubles/day includes insurance products (CASCO/OSAGO) and a mileage limit of 120 km/day

The service operates through Ozon sorting centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, and Rostov-on-Don, which ensures synchronization with the company's logistics infrastructure. According to Ozon, the technology allows entrepreneurs to quickly scale delivery without investing in transport — for example, for urgent deliveries or replacing a car under repair.
