Technonikol has launched the production of flexible tiles and facade tiles in Saratov. Investments in the project amounted to 1.26 billion rubles. The expected production capacity is 10 million square meters of finished products per year.
The plant in Saratov became the third production facility of Technonikol for the production of flexible tiles and facade tiles, along with two other lines in Ryazan. The production site was acquired in 2017, and a large-scale modernization began in 2021.
To equip the plant, modern equipment was purchased from leading global manufacturers from the USA, Germany, Spain, India and China. The company also installed Russian lines, including those manufactured in the Saratov region.
The infrastructure of the new enterprise includes modern bitumen storage facilities with a total capacity of 1.1 thousand tons and logistics facilities that allow storing up to 1 million square meters of finished products at the same time.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new plant for the production of tools for machine-building and oil and gas enterprises will be built in Pervouralsk.
