A new 22 MW solar power plant will be built in the Neftekumsk district of the Stavropol Territory. The corresponding agreement has been signed with Solergy LLC.

We are already actively using the potential of the sun, wind and water to generate energy. The main advantage of such sources is the minimal impact on the environment and human health.
The new solar power plant will provide reliable energy supply for other promising projects in the region. The Stavropol Territory ranks first among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of installed capacity of renewable energy sources (RES), excluding large hydroelectric power plants.
According to the Association for the Development of Renewable Energy (ARVE), by the end of March 2025, the region had 765 MW of wind turbines, 100 MW of solar power plants and 21.3 MW of small hydroelectric power plants.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rosseti connected the Bogdinskaya solar power plant to the power line.
