In the Sverdlovsk region, CYBERSTEEL has completed a large-scale modernization of its seamless stainless steel pipe production. Investments in the technical re-equipment amounted to 12 billion rubles, of which 5.2 billion were provided by the Industrial Development Fund (IDF) in the form of concessional loans.
Thanks to the introduction of 150 new equipment units and automated lines, the company has reduced the number of manual operations and increased labor productivity by 1.5 times. A key element of the modernization was the MES (Manufacturing Execution System), which monitors production processes in real time, optimizes capacity utilization, and reduces risks.
We are confident in our assessment of the prospects for the Russian market of seamless stainless steel pipes, the volume of which will increase to 31 thousand tons by 2028. The long-term policy for the development of new generation nuclear power technologies, the achievement of technological sovereignty in mechanical engineering, as well as the accelerated transition to domestic aviation equipment guarantee a stable demand for pipe products.
After the modernization, the annual production of stainless steel pipes increased to 15.1 thousand tons. This will reduce imports from China by half (to 25% of the market) and completely cover the needs of Russian enterprises. The company has also passed international certification for supplies to nuclear facilities in Turkey, China, Egypt and Bangladesh, strengthening its position in the global market.
