AvtoVAZ has announced the start of sales of the new Lada Granta — a liftback in the Active Cross version, a unique format for the brand with increased ground clearance and a contrasting protective body kit. The car is based on the Comfort version and is available with two engines: an 8-valve 90 hp and a 16-valve 106 hp, both with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Due to the modernized suspension and 15-inch wheels with 195/55 tires, the ground clearance is 198 mm — close to the indicators of Lada SUVs. This improves geometric cross-country ability and expands opportunities for outdoor activities and new routes.
The basic equipment includes air conditioning, two airbags, heated front seats and mirrors, an audio system, the cost is from 1,185,000 rubles.
The version with a more powerful engine is equipped with a Lada EnjoY Pro multimedia system, a rear-view camera, parking sensors, cruise control, fog lights, a light delay function, a central lock with remote control, power windows with "Auto" mode and heated windshield, as well as automatic climate control. The price is from 1,370,000 rubles.
The protective body kit not only protects the body on light off-road, but also forms a recognizable style, especially against the background of new bright colors, including the rich red "Flamenco", presented simultaneously with the release of the model on the market.
