Confidential data leaks are increasingly occurring through the fault of company employees, and not due to technical problems. Attackers convince employees to share information, Mikhail Srodnykh, CEO of SKB Kontur, said at the recent SPIEF-2025.
Of course, leaks occur through both channels - both technically and humanly, but if you look at the dynamics, recently there are much more reasons related to the internal violator - the human factor.
Attackers are looking for vulnerabilities to attack systems, but each time it becomes more expensive and difficult, as protection is also improving, the expert explained.
And people are the vulnerable side, so now more and more internal violators are becoming the very point through which they enter the company and cause damage.
Finding a person, persuading, bribing or motivating is cheaper than hacking. Therefore, it is important how well the company is protected from internal threats. This is especially relevant now.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the number of malicious programs on fake Android devices has increased in Russia. Attackers infect smartphones already at the firmware stage and then sell them, often via the Internet.
