The promising laser anti-drone system (project "Posokh") will be tested in real combat conditions before the end of summer 2025, according to a representative of the developing company.
According to him, tests were conducted in June at one of the training grounds. Compact battery units designed to operate at a distance of 500-700 m were used as a model.
During static tests, we confirmed that the product effectively hits both the warhead and the FPV drones themselves — they burn out.
The source explained that the goal of the project is to create a system to protect rear facilities from the threat of air attacks. Its principle is to affect the aircraft with focused ytterbium laser radiation.
