The new "Moskvich 8" crossover (JAC X8 Plus), which can accommodate seven passengers, will go on sale in August 2025, according to insiders. The starting price of the model will be about 3 million rubles.
The crossover will be the largest car in the brand's lineup. Its dimensions are impressive: length is 4825 mm, width is 1870 mm, height is 1758 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2830 mm. The trunk volume will be 2153 liters with the rear seats folded down. In terms of its dimensions, it is comparable to models such as the Hyundai Santa Fe and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max.
Under the hood of the "Moskvich 8" is a 1.5-liter GDI turbo engine with 174 hp. It works in tandem with a 7-speed transmission and front-wheel drive.
The basic "Comfort" configuration is equipped with LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, heated seats, six airbags, and a rear-view camera.
The more advanced "Techno" configuration adds leather upholstery, seat ventilation, surround-view cameras, and blind spot monitoring systems. The top-end "Premium" version will be equipped with a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, and an audio system with 12 speakers.
