The new Moskvich 8 crossover (JAC X8 Plus), which can accommodate seven passengers, will be available for sale in August 2025. This is reported by insiders. The starting price of the model will be about 3 million rubles.
The crossover will be the largest car in the brand's lineup. Its dimensions are impressive: length is 4825 mm, width is 1870 mm, height is 1758 mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2830 mm. The trunk volume will be 2153 liters with the rear seats folded down. In terms of its dimensions, it is comparable to models such as the Hyundai Santa Fe and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max.
The Moskvich 8 is equipped with a 1.5-liter GDI turbo engine with a capacity of 174 hp. It works in tandem with a 7-speed transmission and front-wheel drive.
The basic Comfort package is equipped with LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a multimedia system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, heated seats, six airbags and a rear-view camera.
The more advanced Techno package adds leather upholstery, seat ventilation, all-round cameras and blind spot monitoring systems. The top version of Premium will be equipped with a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control and an audio system with 12 speakers.
