ИИ поможет строить Москву: мэрия и Сколтех договорились о сотрудничестве в сфере внедрения нейросетей

An agreement on cooperation in the field of information modeling and AI was signed at SPIEF-2025

The Government of Moscow and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) have entered into an agreement on cooperation in the field of introducing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into urban development processes. The document was signed on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

The agreement envisages interaction in the field of information modeling and automated design using AI. According to Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction, the integration of AI into the planning and implementation of construction projects improves their transparency, quality and efficiency, and speeds up the provision of services. According to him, cooperation with Skoltech will strengthen the scientific and technical potential of the capital by combining science, education and practice.

A key role in this process will be played by the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Urban Development, established on the basis of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy in 2024. The Center studies the needs of construction process participants, develops and implements digital solutions. Currently, specialists have developed six AI services, including "Apartmentography", which automatically generates housing layouts, and "Digital Regulatory Control", which doubles the speed of project documentation verification.

The immediate plans include the launch of new developments, including services for checking the correctness of filling out the construction classification system and automatically verifying the data of the digital information model with current standards.

The Mayor's Office emphasizes that the introduction of AI will improve the accuracy of decisions, speed up design and control in construction, and cooperation with scientific centers such as Skoltech will strengthen Moscow's leadership position in the digitalization of urban management.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that about 100 projects are being implemented in the capital using AI in various fields - from transport and medicine to education and construction.
