Heated Front Side Windows with Filaments: Lada Azimut is the First in the World to Use New Technology

The crossover will only be produced with rear-wheel drive

The new Lada Azimut features heated front side windows due to integrated filaments. This solution is used for the first time in the world.

Some initially perceived the wording "heated side windows" in the press release as an error. However, the factory confirmed that this option will indeed be available.

Lada Azimut is the first crossover of AvtoVAZ and is a completely Russian development. The car will be equipped with modernized engines of its own production with a volume of 1.6 and 1.8 liters, with a capacity of 120 and 132 hp, respectively. A 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT will be available.

The crossover was created on the basis of the Vesta platform and will not have a version with all-wheel drive, as this is not provided for by the platform design.
