As of June 11, 2025, the largest Russian gaming company, "Lesta Games," known for brands such as "World of Tanks" and "World of Warships," has officially come under the control of Rosimushchestvo. This was the result of a court decision, which is confirmed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE) data.
All company property has been officially nationalized. "Lesta Games" LLC, "Lesta Games Moscow," and "Lesta Games Agency" have come under state control. Rosimushchestvo has taken over the administration of the company and intends to transfer the assets to a new owner when one appears.
Despite state intervention, the "World of Tanks" servers continue to operate stably, players receive updates, and in-game activity has not been suspended. The developers have assured that current events, battle passes, and game support will not cease.
The company "Lesta" LLC was arrested on April 24. The court recognized its owners as extremists, which led to the transfer of the company under state control.
