The name of the new classified Lada model has become known, which is awaiting its official presentation at SPIEF-2025. According to the Telegram channel Mash, the crossover will be named Lada Azimut.
AvtoVAZ patented the name Azimut in March 2024.
The crossover was previously known under the code name B-Plus Cross, but its final name has not been officially announced. The model will be produced on the Lada Vesta platform, with the start of production, according to the latest information, scheduled for the beginning of 2026.
In addition to the presentation of the flagship model, another new product will be premiered as part of the business program of the forum. So far, the automaker has not provided information on the technical characteristics of the model.
AvtoVAZ has been using the площадка of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum for the presentation of new models for the third year. In 2023, the company presented the Lada Aura sedan, and in 2024 — the Lada Iskra car.
