Assembly lines for the production of space satellites have been launched in Russia. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov.

Conveyors for the production of satellites weighing up to 100 kg are already operating at the Joint Stock Company "Information Satellite Systems named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev" (JSC "Reshetnev").

Private satellite manufacturers are also working on the production of spacecraft in a conveyor manner.

The head of the Roscosmos State Corporation, Dmitry Bakanov, speaking at the "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" conference in Nizhny Novgorod, noted that the national space project includes the launch of 886 broadband Internet satellites " рассвет" and 114 remote sensing spacecraft. According to him, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation has already approved the requested funding for the national project in the amount of 4.5 trillion rubles.

Work on the project began in October 2023 after President Vladimir Putin instructed the government of the Russian Federation to develop a national project for the development of the domestic space services, technologies and products industry.
