The air leak in the Russian segment of the ISS has been eliminated, Roscosmos reported.
The sealing stage of the "Zvezda" service module's transfer chamber has been completed. According to the Mission Control Center, there are no air leaks in the Russian segment of the International Space Station.
The leak problem from the "Zvezda" module's intermediate chamber was identified in September 2019. Attempts have been made to eliminate it over several years, but they only yielded partial results.
After sealing in June 2025, tests showed a complete cessation of air leakage for the first time since the malfunction was discovered.
