Lada Iskra production has been suspended, according to insiders. While up to 10 cars were being assembled per day last week, production has completely stopped this week. No cars have been produced in the last five days.
The launch of Lada Iskra sales is scheduled for July 20, 2025. Cars will also appear at dealerships for test drives in July. Mass production began in mid-April, but has been intermittent so far.
Lada Iskra is available in three body styles: sedan, station wagon, and cross-station wagon. The car is equipped with 1.6-liter engines producing 90 and 106 hp. Gearboxes include a 5-speed manual VAZ gearbox, a 6-speed manual Chinese gearbox, and a CVT. Prices range from 1.2 to 1.6 million rubles.
