«Умный щит»: новую функцию для защиты абонентов от мошенников подключил «Билайн»

If a subscriber receives a message with a code during a conversation, the operator will analyze the caller's number

"Beeline" is launching a new security system to protect subscribers from fraudsters, the company's press service reported. The service is currently available to residents of St. Petersburg, but soon all customers will be able to use it. This function is free and activated automatically, without additional connections.

If a subscriber receives a message with a code during a conversation, for example, to confirm a payment or change a password on "Gosuslugi", the system will check the caller's number. If fraud is suspected, the call will be interrupted.

In the near future, the operator will begin to implement a similar mechanism for calls via messengers. This is a new measure to protect against social engineering, when fraudsters try to trick users into giving out confirmation codes during a conversation, the operator's press service reported.

The new protection system is a smart shield between the client and the criminal: if an SMS with a code arrives during a suspicious call, the call is automatically interrupted. No complicated settings, no additional actions - just reliable protection that works discreetly but effectively.
