Tu-22M3 bomber carriers of "Dagger" missiles flew over the Baltic Sea together with Su-30cm and Su-27

Long-range strategic bombers Tu-22M3 of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of Russia made a scheduled flight in the airspace over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The Tu-22M3 was escorted by crews of Su-30SM and Su-27 aircraft. The flight lasted more than four hours.

At certain stages of the route, long-range bombers were escorted by fighters of foreign states. Long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the North Atlantic, the Arctic, the Pacific Ocean, the Black and Baltic Seas.

All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace, the Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized.

The armament of the Tu-22M3 missile carrier includes the Kinzhal hypersonic complex, a twin-barreled GSh-23L 23 mm caliber cannon, various types of aerial bombs, or free-falling sea mines.
