Саратовский завод «Сокол» сможет выпускать запчасти для самолетов Як-42

The company received the corresponding certificate in May 2025

Rosaviatsiya has issued a permit to the Saratov Aviation Plant "Sokol" to manufacture spare parts for Yak-42 aircraft. The corresponding certificate was issued on May 20, 2025, and is valid for more than two years, subject to regular confirmation of compliance with the requirements.

There are currently 14 Yak-42D aircraft registered in the Russian commercial aviation registry. The main operators are KrasAvia (6 aircraft), Izhavia (4 aircraft), Arctica (3 aircraft), and RusJet (1 aircraft).

The certificate allows the plant to produce a wide range of components, including controls and mechanization elements, wing and empennage components, interior parts, transmission and fuselage parts, as well as elements of hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the timeline for equipping Be-200 aircraft with Russian PD-8 engines has been announced.
