Инновационную модель для автоматизации очистных сооружений в Геленджике внедряет компания «Полипластик»

The management system will help improve the quality of wastewater treatment and solve the problem of a shortage of qualified personnel

A new mathematical model designed to automate the operation of wastewater treatment plants in Gelendzhik was presented by the "Polyplastic" Group of Companies. The development was announced at the CIPR-2025 exhibition and is aimed at solving current problems related to the shortage of qualified technologists in the regions.

The unique mathematical model for managing treatment facilities will control the quality of wastewater discharged into the Black Sea. The company noted that the new system will not only identify violations in the operation of treatment facilities in real time, but also prevent possible deviations in the future, which will significantly increase environmental safety.

Currently, commissioning works are being carried out at the Gelendzhik treatment facilities. The company plans to launch the mathematical model first in semi-automatic mode, and then switch to fully automatic control. The project is being implemented as part of the large-scale infrastructure project "Clean Bay". The introduction of the new mathematical model will help solve the problem of personnel shortage, which is especially important for settlements with a shortage of specialists.

The digital system, based on the model of activated sludge enzymatic kinetics, will predict and control the quality of wastewater treatment at the Gelendzhik treatment facilities. It collects parameters from analytical sensors located at the treatment facilities, processes them, calculates and issues recommendations on the necessary actions at a certain moment - start the pump, increase the amount of air

The treatment facility will be managed based on the analysis of the quantitative and qualitative composition of wastewater. The predictive control system will be able to predict possible problems and configure the system in advance. In the event of an emergency, such as a sharp deterioration in the quality of wastewater, the system will be able to respond quickly, preventing pollution of the water basin. Thus, the new mathematical model will be an important step towards optimizing the operation of treatment facilities and improving the environmental situation in the region.
