The Russian Ministry of Defense has published the first footage of the combat use of the latest Krot-1 ground wheeled drone. The novelty is a development of the Novy Rubezh design bureau.
This modification has become the most mobile and effective solution in conjunction with TM-62 mines or a TNT charge.
High speed, maneuverability, small dimensions and high payload capacity make the Krot-1 an excellent tool for successfully opening and destroying fortified enemy positions.
Also interesting is the drone's camouflage, which significantly reduces the chance of it being detected by the enemy's FPV drone in a static position.
Main characteristics of the Krot-1 ground drone:
- Dimensions (L/W/H) — 1.2 m / 0.9 / 0.5 m
- Payload — 30 kg (about 3 TM-62 mines)
- Max. speed — 20 km/h
- Control — remote, first person
