The Kalashnikov Group (part of Rostec) reported that operators of SKAT 350 M reconnaissance drones have begun working in conjunction with the crews of the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system (OTRK).
SKAT 350 M operators identify the location of targets and transmit coordinates to headquarters for a high-precision missile strike by the OTRK.
SKAT 350 M is mass-produced by the Kalashnikov Group and is designed for round-the-clock aerial surveillance, target search in the optical and IR ranges, and precise guidance of weapons to enemy objects.
SKAT 350 M is actively used along the entire land line of combat contact and in the maritime, particularly Black Sea, theater of operations. It is considered the most effective aerial reconnaissance aircraft in its class.
The design of the SKAT is a flying wing of reinforced construction, adapted for parachute landing.
It lacks protruding and fragile elements that are prone to damage during landing. The wingspan is 3.2 m, which, together with the design features, allows it to perform tasks at different altitudes.
