Самозапрет на кредиты через «Госуслуги» установили более 10 млн россиян

Young people and the older generation are less active so far, the most active group is citizens aged 35–45

Since the launch of the voluntary self-ban service for loans on the "Gosuslugi" portal on March 1, more than 10.6 million Russians have set restrictions on obtaining credit products.

In the first three months of the service, users sent 11.53 million applications to establish a ban and 504 thousand applications to cancel it. Thus, only 4.4% of previously introduced restrictions were canceled.

Mostly, citizens choose a complete ban — 91% of all applications account for this option. Some users only restrict remote loan processing — such bans account for about 4% of applications. The rest are distributed between bans on issuance in microfinance organizations and banks.

The most active age group is from 35 to 45 years old, accounting for 23% of all restrictions. Next come citizens aged 45–55 (21%), 55–65 (20%), over 65 (17%), 25–35 (12%) and young people under 25 (7%).

Moscow became the leader in the number of self-ban function connections — Muscovites sent 1.13 million applications to establish and 30 thousand to cancel restrictions.

The self-ban function helps control the credit burden and protects against ill-considered loans, which contributes to the financial stability of the population.
