The city of Baikonur is preparing to welcome tourists for rocket launches in July, September, November, and December. The largest influx is expected in late November — for the launch of the manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-28.
Such launches traditionally generate the most interest: more than two thousand people will come to Baikonur for the November launch. Up to two thousand guests are expected for other launches — in July, September, and December.
Although the exact dates and types of launches have not yet been officially confirmed, it was previously reported that the Progress MS-31 cargo ship is scheduled to be sent in July, and the first test of the new Soyuz-5 launch vehicle in December.
