The submarine "Novorossiysk" of project 636.3, code "Varshavyanka", performed a deep-sea dive in one of the areas of the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
During the dive, the crew checked the operation of all systems and mechanisms of the submarine, worked out the algorithm of actions when controlling the ship at depths of up to 190 meters and with various methods of surfacing.
The submarine exercise was supported by small anti-submarine ships, rescue and tug vessels of the Baltic Naval Base.
The submarines of the project are distinguished by the range of target detection and acoustic stealth, powerful missile and torpedo armament. The main strike complex is the high-precision "Caliber" missiles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the use of half-century-old Grad MLRS has been completely rethought: new approaches to combat work.
