The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has announced the suspension of production of its classic UAZ Hunter SUV.
The reason for this decision was the transfer of the model's production to a separate production line, which will take about two months. Production is expected to resume in late July.
Despite the low popularity of the Hunter, the plant does not plan to abandon this model, which has long established itself in the Russian market. The SUV is offered at a price of 1,650,000 rubles (excluding special offers) and is equipped with a ZMZ-409051 engine with a capacity of 149.6 hp, which meets the Euro-5 standard. The package includes a 5-speed manual transmission from BAIC, a two-speed transfer case, and Spicer axles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant announced prices for the new 2025 Patriot, Pickup, and Hunter models.
