A new extra-large KamAZ-6292 electric bus has begun testing in Moscow. It has been launched on route e10: "Salarievo metro station – Kitay-gorod metro station", the Moscow Department of Transport press service reported.
Due to its increased capacity, this model ensures comfortable trips for even more passengers. We plan that almost the entire Mosgortrans fleet will switch to electric traction by 2035.
The electric bus will be tested in various weather conditions, and its driving performance and level of passenger comfort will be assessed. After the tests, the authorities may purchase KamAZ-6292 for the most popular routes in Moscow.
