The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, General Mod Asghar Khan, demonstrated top-class piloting on the multi-purpose Su-30MKM fighter in front of thousands of spectators at the LIMA air show in Langkawi. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Knights aviation group.
Mod Asghar Khan began his service as a lieutenant, and in 38 years he rose to the rank of general. During this time, he mastered the control of the A-4 Skyhuwk attack aircraft, the American-made F-5 Tiger II multi-purpose fighter, the Soviet MiG-29H fighter and the Russian Su-30MKM fighter.
The General spent most of his flight practice on our fighters. He was a member of the Malaysian aerobatic team on the MiG-29H, as the left external wingman.
