A 1951 ZiS-110B has appeared for sale in Kazakhstan. The rare gray-blue limousine has been restored while preserving the original details.
The ZiS-110B was produced in a limited series at the Stalin Plant. Only 270 of these cars were produced. They were used for ceremonial events and meetings with leaders of socialist countries.
ZiS-110B is a symbol of power and solemnity. Cars of this modification were used only in exceptional cases: at Victory Parades, meetings with high-ranking guests, in motorcades of the Soviet leadership. The surviving specimens are unique, most are in museums or private collections.
The convertible was the first post-war domestic car with a soft top. The restoration of the Kazakhstan specimen was carried out at a high level, but there is confusion with the characteristics in the description: instead of the standard eight-cylinder engine with a volume of 6.0 liters and a capacity of 140 hp, a six-cylinder engine is indicated.
The car's mileage is 100 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a 1985 ZAZ-968M is being sold in Orenburg.
