Russia is planning to build modern, rapidly erected block-modular structures for various purposes for transport and long-range aviation, namely the Tu-160 "White Swan". The footage has appeared online.
A mock-up of the shelter has already been demonstrated to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Andrei Belousov. Judging by the photos, it is currently a light and inexpensive tent-mobile shelter (TMS), designed to protect against bad weather and the watchful eye of Western satellites. The size and material of the shelters are unknown.
It is not specified how many Russian industrial enterprises will be involved in the Tu-160 shelter project to one degree or another.
The "White Swan" is designed to operate with nuclear and conventional weapons against targets in remote areas. The Tu-160 is the largest supersonic aircraft in the history of military aviation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Soyuz-2.1b rocket with a classified device was launched in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
