Next week, Russian Su-30SM2 multi-functional super-maneuverable fighters will enter service with the combat units of the Air Force of Belarus. Military expert Evgeny Damantsev revealed the technical equipment of export combat vehicles.
According to him, the Su-30SM2 received Irbis-E airborne radar systems based on passive phased arrays with 1850 elements and an array of emitting modules powered by a 20 kW microwave magnetron.
The Su-30SM2 weapon control systems received software and hardware adaptation for the use of R-37M ultra-long-range air-to-air missiles - 150 - 270 km, depending on the launch altitude.
Thanks to this, Su-30SM2 pilots will be able to conduct long-range air combat with Rafale F4.1 fighters equipped with Meteor air-to-air missiles, as well as Polish F-35As equipped with AIM-120D missiles.
Also, the fighters will be able to use universal interspecific gliding munitions (UMPB) D-30SN with a range of 120 km and the latest low-observable Kh-69 cruise missiles.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Soyuz-2.1b rocket with a classified vehicle was launched in the interests of the Ministry of Defense.
