"Ural" to Increase Production: New Assembly Complex for Next-Generation Trucks Opens at the Enterprise

Modernization will allow an increase in production by 5,500 vehicles per year

The Ural Automobile Plant has opened a new building for the assembly of heavy-duty trucks. This was reported by the company's press service.

Pavel Yakovlev, General Director of the automobile plant, noted that the latest global technologies will be used in the new building. The range of trucks includes models with a gross weight of 12 to 48 tons, each of which requires different manufacturing technologies.

This is a complex with an area of more than 40,000 square meters with several workshops and modern equipment. Construction took less than two years - this is a real labor feat!

The complex is equipped with 9 robotic welding complexes and a robotic complex for painting cabins. Among the innovations are 9 robotic welding complexes, a complex for painting cabins, AGV trolleys and the only robotic mezzanine warehouse in Russia.

The launch of the new complex will allow the company to increase the volume of car production by more than 5,500 cars per year.
