The Russian operational-tactical complex (OTRK) demonstrates high accuracy in combat use, and nothing compares to the maneuverability of the 9M723 tactical missile. This was stated by military analyst Drago Bosnic.
According to him, at the moment there is nothing in the West that could compare with the “huge destructive potential, relatively low cost and high accuracy” of the Russian missile system.
At the same time, the military continues to improve the system - its range has more than doubled.
The material says that the 9M723 missile used in the Iskander-M was developed in the late 1980s. It has high maneuverability, which makes it a “nightmare for anti-missile and air defense”.
The Iskander-M is used by the military to destroy enemy air defense systems, as well as other important objects at a maximum range of up to 500 km.
