Закручивают гайки: правительство РФ сократит финансирование федерального проекта по промышленной робототехнике

Experts fear Russia will not achieve its automation goals by 2030

The federal project on industrial robotics has faced a reduction in budget allocations of 1.7 billion rubles — instead of the initial 5.6 billion, 3.9 billion will be allocated in 2025.

In parallel, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has lowered localization requirements for robot manufacturers to expand access to state support. Now, the minimum threshold is 35 points instead of the previous strict criteria. This decision is due to the fact that only one company out of 17 potential participants met the previous standards.

According to the State Duma, the total funding for the state program "Development of Industry" will decrease by 66.9 billion rubles due to a decrease in revenues from the recycling fee.

Experts expressed concern about the reduction in robotics funding. It is assumed that the budget cut may slow down the achievement of the goal — to be among the top 25 countries in terms of robot density by 2030. At the same time, the current level of component localization, according to associations, is 60–70%, but is critically dependent on imports of electronics and gearboxes.
