The Moscow-based company "DroneShub Group" has presented a new transport rover, "Cargo Shell", capable of autonomously delivering consolidated cargo with a total weight of up to 150 kg to multiple addresses in a single trip. The rover is equipped with voice control and divided independent cargo compartments that protect the contents from precipitation during unloading.
"Cargo Shell" is designed for use in cities, warehouses, enterprises, tourist parks, construction sites, and transport companies. The robotic platform with all-wheel drive ensures high cross-country capability and is not afraid of uneven roads and various weather conditions. The maximum speed of the rover is 15 km/h, and the operating time on a single charge is up to 24 hours. Control is via a mobile application or an automated operator workstation, which receives video stream from the camera, routes, and telemetry.
A unique feature of the model is the ability to deliver goods from different senders to different recipients in one trip thanks to separated compartments with wing-covers that protect the contents from precipitation. For the first time, a voice assistant has been implemented in this model, simplifying communication with the rover and setting routes.
In the near future, "Cargo Shell" will begin operating on the territory of the Pine River Kaluga park-hotel, where it will be used to deliver equipment, food, and inventory between hotel buildings located on an area of over 600 hectares.
