VK has relaunched the "Mail Answers" service. The updated version of the platform features a completely redesigned design, architecture, and user "expertise" rating system. The service now allows you to add not only text, but also photos, videos, and polls. The user rating now takes into account overall activity, not just expertise.

New types of posts have appeared: "Opinions" for expressing personal experience, "Knowledge" for questions with a clear answer, and "Stories" - a format for publishing full-fledged articles. According to VK representatives, the relaunch is due to the fact that the platform has gone beyond searching for answers to specific questions: now users are looking for advice, consultations and discussing current topics.

VK does not disclose the amount of investment in the relaunch. According to an RBC source, the service's revenue in 2024 amounted to 160 million rubles, and growth to 400 million rubles is expected in 2026.

Experts' opinions on the future of the updated service are divided. Some doubt the project's ability to attract a new audience and believe that the complicated mechanics are unlikely to change the situation. Others believe that "Mail Answers" could become a popular and stable platform, especially with the integration of artificial intelligence.
