Krasnopol-M2 guided artillery munitions have repeatedly destroyed heavily protected targets such as Leopard and Abrams tanks. This was reported by the High-Precision Systems holding (part of Rostec).
Krasnopol has a wide variety of successfully destroyed targets to its credit: UAV command posts, fortified deployment points, enemy artillery and armored vehicles, including heavily protected targets such as Leopard and Abrams tanks.
It was previously reported that in 2024, the holding increased the production of guided artillery munitions.
The Krasnopol artillery complex, in addition to the high-explosive fragmentation guided projectile, includes a laser designator rangefinder, which is used to aim at the target.
The 152 mm Krasnopol can be used by all types of artillery systems, including modern self-propelled howitzers Koalitsiya-SV, Msta-S, and Msta-SM. The flight range is 20 km, the weight of the warhead is 8 kg. The Krasnopol complex target designator is capable of capturing up to three targets simultaneously.
Earlier www1.ru reported that T-90M Proryv tanks will be hidden from drones under Nakidkas: the probability of detection will be reduced by 30%.
