Russian enthusiasts have presented a unique project — miniature «Zhiguli», completely redesigned for a compact urban format. The car is based on manual assembly, a homemade body and a creative approach.
At the same time, the standard transmission quickly gave way under load, so the designers installed a variator designed for 40 hp — twice as much as the original engine produces. To accommodate the power unit, I had to literally cut out part of the body and reinforce it again.
Craftsmen reworked the steering, camber angles and suspension. Inside, the car received non-standard upholstery, polycarbonate windows, new optics and carpet.
On the test drive, the unusual «Zhiguli» pleased with the ease of acceleration to 40 km/h and excellent maneuverability. Now the car is easy to park even in the most cramped conditions and feels confident in the city traffic.
