Две современные сборочные системы появились на предприятии ПАО «КАМАЗ»

The plant has updated equipment to improve the assembly quality of K5 trucks

Two modern assembly systems with a fixed tightening torque appeared on the main assembly line of PJSC KAMAZ in mid-May. The updated equipment should improve the connection quality of the stabilizer bracket to the front and rear suspension of K5 trucks. The new cantilever cranes with automated systems were put into operation after the completion of commissioning works this spring.

The stabilizer bracket is attached to the strut with two bolts, which must be tightened simultaneously with the same force. Even an experienced assembly fitter cannot do this easily with an impact wrench, which is why we decided to resort to automation, since the connection is critical.

The two-spindle nutrunner system ensures precise alignment of the tool head with the bolts and simultaneous tightening. Three green indicators on the display signal the completion of the operation. The four-meter crane boom allows easy access to the truck, and at an average assembly rate, the worker manages to complete the tightening without delays.

One of the main advantages of the new system is the absence of vibration and low noise level. This makes the process more comfortable for workers.

The introduction of new equipment will also help reduce the influence of the human factor, which will positively affect the quality of the products. Thus, PJSC KAMAZ continues to modernize its production processes, striving for high standards of quality and efficiency.
