Сухопутная торпеда: военные испытали новый дрон-камикадзе для уничтожения укреплений

The "Pioneer" robot is controlled by an operator in the first person.

The Russian military has developed and tested a new ground-based kamikaze drone "Pioneer" to destroy fortified strongholds and pillboxes.

The "Pioneer" kamikaze robot is the latest development, and not only the military, but also volunteer assistants participated in the creation of the drone.

The "Pioneer" consists of three wheeled platforms connected by swivel couplings. Mechanical joints allow the robot to "break" and overcome funnels, embankments and other obstacles inaccessible to other drones.

The drone is equipped with an electric motor, and the batteries can be charged in the field. Six wheels provide high speed over rough terrain even with heavy loads. The "Pioneer" is controlled by an operator in the first person.

Also, the robot is able to operate in conjunction with air kamikaze drones and unmanned scouts. Deployment of the field control complex takes about 15 minutes.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the characteristics of the ZA-SpN "Titan" armored car shown at the parade in Moscow became known.
