The Russian government has approved the creation of the Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Development, which will act as a project office to coordinate the implementation of this technology in key industries. According to the published draft resolution, the center will systematize best practices, support developers, and develop computing power.
One of the key aspects of the center's work is expert and analytical support for government initiatives in the field of AI. As explained in the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, its work is based on a project approach that has already proven its effectiveness in the digitalization of public administration. This includes not only the development of methodologies, but also the scaling of solutions in the real sector of the economy.
Therefore, the overall focus of the state in relation to AI has shifted to the implementation and scaling of best practices. To achieve this goal, a project office is being formed - the Center for Artificial Intelligence Development under the Government of the Russian Federation. The center's tasks include building operational end-to-end coordination between government bodies, regions and businesses.
For the successful implementation of the tasks facing the center, a project approach is being introduced into its work, which is applied in all areas supervised by Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko.
