Frontline bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) have begun using guided glide bombs with a new version of the jam-resistant satellite guidance system "Comet." This was reported by a former military pilot, the author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber.
The bombs landed with a spread of less than 20 meters. Right on target. The new "Comet" works great. It would be good if it worked as long as possible.
The current satellite navigation system for bombs with universal planning modules and drones is the third version of "Comet." The enemy found ways to counter the previous two, so their use was abandoned. The main carriers of FAB with UMPC are Su-34 fighters.
The digital antenna array of "Comet-M" is shielded from artificial interference from the lower hemisphere, which provides protection from radiation from ground-based electronic warfare systems.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the frigate "Admiral Golovko," carrier of hypersonic "Zircons," has completed a long voyage.
