«Коробки» с японскими корнями: Sollers наладит выпуск легендарных «автоматов» Aisin

Japanese Automatic Transmissions Planned for Atlanta Vehicles

The Sollers Group has announced the start of localization of the assembly of 6-speed Aisin automatic transmissions for Atlant light commercial vehicles (LCV). The company already produces Atlant, Argo, and Sollers Argo6 models at its facilities, which are based on JAC platforms.

The localization of automatic transmissions will be the next step in Sollers' strategy to strengthen its position in the commercial vehicle segment. The production of automatic transmissions will be established under license or using technologies similar to Aisin.

Thus, Sollers continues to develop its production facilities and expand the range of light commercial vehicles, which may positively affect the company's competitiveness in the Russian market.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Sollers SF1 light vans, created on the basis of JAC Refine M3, appeared on sale.
