Kirov enterprise "Mayak" (part of the Kalashnikov concern) was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky for заслуги in strengthening the country's defense capability. The decree is posted on the portal for publishing official legal acts.

Kalashnikov recalled that 40 years ago, in May 1985, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Kirov Mayak plant was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War I degree for заслуги in providing the Navy and the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War.

The Mayak plant is a manufacturer of launchers for anti-tank missile systems (ATGMs) "Konkurs-M" and "Fagot", which have demonstrated high efficiency. At the end of December 2024, the company completed testing of a kit for remote control of the Konkurs-M ATGM launcher.
